Minutes
February 1, 2007
The Board
of Adams County Commissioners met this day with the following
present: Bill
Brown, Chairman, Mike Paradis and Joe Holmes, Commissioners
and Sherry Ward, Clerk.
Scot Kump, UnderSheriff, Connie Kesler, Treasurer, and
Warren Rick, Deputy Appraiser were also present.
Whereas
the following proceedings were had, to-wit:
Chairman
Bill Brown opened the special meeting.
LAND/PROPERTY: A discussion of a
potential purchase of the Grange Hall and surrounding land for
a total .73 acres with building was held. Bill Brown has been in
contact with the Director of the State Grange. Myron Gabbert,
Prosecuting Attorney, has been involved to make sure the
County is doing everything properly. Further discussion
will be held at a later date.
INTERIM
CLAIMS:
Two claims were presented for payment. Joe Holmes made a
motion to pay the claims. The motion was seconded
by Mike Paradis and passed unanimously.
ROOF
REPAIR: A
larger roof ridge cap, sealant and replacing a boot around a
pipe are the immediate repairs for the roof. The roof repair cost
will be approximately $2,000.00. Dan Kamerdula would
like to trade his labor cost for a trailer that the County
owns. Joe Holmes
made a motion to approve work by Dan. The motion was
seconded by Mike Paradis and passed unanimously.
The
meeting was adjourned.
